An Argentinian actress, singer, TV host and model has been chosen as Puerto Escondido’s official ambassador for the celebration of the Fiestas de Noviembre.
Mayor Javier Cruz Jimenez announced Thursday that the internet celebrity and influencer known as Dorismar would help communicate the beauty of Puerto Escondido to the entire world through her social media presence, as well as through various activities in which she intends to take part.
“Puerto Escondido is ideal for those who seek the thrill of the sea, surfing, skydiving, or whale and dolphin sightings,” she said.
Besides highlighting the beauty of the beaches and blue waters of Puerto Escondido, Dorismar added that she wants to stay and would like to live with her family in “this beautiful place of beautiful people and pure generosity.”
In turn, Mayor Cruz remarked that his administration was happy that Dorismar is delighted with Puerto Escondido. “We admire her beauty, her artistic trajectory, and how nice it is that Puerto Escondido has welcomed her.”
He also pointed out that in naming her as ambassador, the municipal council’s goal is to encourage tourists to visit Puerto Escondido, “a destination that continues to develop and grow in the short, medium and long terms.”
Cruz reported that Dorismar will be part of some events during the Fiestas de Noviembre, such as the fishing tournament to be held in Playa Principal this weekend, and encouraged visitors to stop by and say hello to the influencer.
