Two burglars were brutally beaten by some residents of Bacocho after breaking into a house and trying to flee Sunday evening.
The event was reported when thieves were discovered inside a home.
The two suspects fled on a motorcycle, but were caught at the first entrance to Bacocho, where one was grabbed and beaten. His accomplice tried to take shelter in a grocery store, but was dragged out and beaten, too.
Municipal police officers arrived and prevented the two from being beaten to death by the group of residents, angry over burglaries in the area.
The offenders were arrested and placed in custody.
