The state health services agency, SSO, honored its employees in the greater Coast region Wednesday in Puerto Escondido, recognizing both seniority and performance.
Health Minister Virginia Sánchez Ríos awarded 47 employees with the “National Award for Seniority in Public Service 2022,” all having worked at the agency for between 20 and 50 years.
Sánchez expressed her gratitude to the recipients for contributing to a healthier Oaxaca and urged them to continue working with dedication, creativity, commitment and efficiency for the benefit of the families of Oaxaca and the most vulnerable among the population.
Primitivo López Cruz was the only worker awarded for 50 years of service, while José Gasga Maya was recognized for his 40 years in the health care sector. While many of the recipients were in attendance at the ceremony, the relatives of those workers who passed away during the last year received their awards on their behalf.
