The Coast2Coast Rally concluded on Friday after more than 1,600 km of racing with a grueling last stage that started in San José del Pacífico and took racers from 2,500 meters above sea level to a mere 10 in Puerto Escondido.
The victor in the Rally Pro category, Oswaldo Lara, told RIOaxaca that throughout the rally his team had “collected thousands of daily experiences, but in the end it is simply joy. I had a great time and I’m happy to be at the finish line, I never thought my family would be with me . . . It is the best event I have raced.”
